Schedule A Pre-Certification in Scottsdale

If a person’s profession falls within Schedule A, no test of the labor market is required in order to get a green card because the Department of Labor designated jobs that will not adversely affect US workers. Schedule A includes nurses and physical therapists (Group I) and persons of exceptional ability in sciences and arts (Group II). A full-time permanent job offer is required.

Persons of exceptional ability in science or arts and unversity teachers (Group II) must show “widespread acclaim adn international recognition accorded by recognized experts in the field.” An example would be a research scientist or fine manipulator and creator of puppets. The exceptional ability contemplates “some rare or unusual talent or extraordinary ability in a calling which requires talent or skill.” They have to show that they practiced in field for previous year and intent to practice in the same field and that practice require “exceptional ability.”
